Anthony

Anthony, a native of Nashville, received a BA in piano performance from DePaul University (2013) in Chicago. Studying with celebrated artists such as Aglika Angelova, Jelena Dirks from the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Ron Perillo, and hailed Georgian concert pianist George Vatchnadze, Anthony evolved into a versatile and exciting performer keenly interested in experimental music. Selected project highlights include: pianist for Schoenberg’s melodrama Pierrot Lunaire, pianist for all-Georg Friederich Haas concert at DePaul performing Le Profoundeur in complete darkness, pianist for a centennial celebration of Igor Stravinsky performing Deux Poems and Three Japanese Lyrics, keyboardist for the Ruth Page Center’s production of Fame, and pianist for the world premiere of Seven Wallace’s.

Last spring, he emerged as a collaborator and live conceptual art subject with photographer and professor Jason Lazarus where he practiced publicly in the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago for twelve weeks. Anthony now resides in Los Angeles where he bids his time as a performer, composer/arranger, choral director, and piano instructor with The Royal Music Academy. Here, Anthony is free to grow with a diverse body of students. He is passionate as a teacher and loves to share his knowledge with his students. He believes firmly that piano education represents more than just a skill or hobby. Moreover, it can liberate individuals intellectually and emotionally, providing a space for self-expression and collaboration.

Anthony teaches piano to students of all ages in the neighborhoods of: Santa Monica, West LA, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Silver Lake, Glendale, Downtown, and more!
