Born in Seoul, Korea, A Kung started playing piano as a hobby at the age of seven. She studied at Seoul Arts High School and the prestigious Seoul National University where she received her Bachelor’s degree with honors in piano performance as well as completing a Master’s degree program at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. She has appeared in numerous concerts and recitals as a solo pianist, accompanist and as a member of chamber ensembles. Now, she is continuing to study her graduate certificate program in piano performance at the University of Southern California and is planning to pursue a Doctor of Musical Arts program. She is also actively participating in famous international competitions and sharing her passion and expertise with her numerous students.

A Kung teaches piano to students of all ages and teaches in the neighborhoods of: Korea Town, Beverly Hills, Silverlake, Echo Park, Westwood, West Hollywood, Brentwood, Bel Air, Beverlywood, and more!
